I have a Ruppster that I recently purchased. I can get 35 mph out of it on flat concrete. Does anyone know if this is how fast they should be.

I think top speed will vary depending on how much you weigh, when I was 12 my Roadster would take me to 50 mph now I am 36 and I am lucky if I get 40. Dang beer gut...lol

A ruppster had a 230 JLO (rockwell) 2 cycle engine and was a 4 wheeler. Roadster was a 2 wheel minibike. The Ruppster would top out at about 45 with the correct belt and a full shift. JOE

The Ruppster is a one of a kind machine. You should try one with a 72 Rupp Nitro 440 motor in it. It spanks. Not bad for something that was made 36yrs ago!!!!

When we had ours we had problems with the original engine and swaped it out for an articat 440 and that thing was very fast it would go about 60mph but with that engine it got there in about 40 yards. we also put a roll cage on it because the thing was so qiuck it was easy to lay on its side if you caught a rock in the middle of a turn
