The Roadster2 featured trials type tires, headlight, tail/brake light, engine produced electric to operate the lights, Tecumseh made carb with govenor, muffler/spark arrester exhaust. 1971 models were available in green, blue, red, purple. 1972 were available in red, purple, gold, and possibly blue. 1973 were available in brown metallic and a rasberry metallic.
The Blackwidow featured motocross type tires, Dellorto carb, no govenor, no air filter, straight pipe exhaust with no muffler/spark arrester. Only available in black and only built in 1971.

Bill, due to no govenor and air filter it is a RARE find to find a BW with the correct engine intact. Most engines were blown up many years ago.

It is a lot cheaper to build a BW than a Roadster due to the lack of street equipment involved.
Not all BW's came with the Dell'orto carb and straight pipe though. I remember a few that didn't have them. They were options on all bikes though. I could be off on this, but the dealers probably shuffled parts around.
My 73 Roadster 2 has a Dell'orto that originally came on a friends bike new in '72. It was a red Roadster 2 with a white seat, a chrome front fender and a windshield. I own that one now too, and most of the other bikes that my friends in the neighborhood had. I kept buying them up through the years.
J/L sales or Black Widow Motorsports can supply you with anything you need for restoration.
