Just picked up a rupp roadster. I am new to the rupps. It needs the tank and rear shock. I have seen a few bike like this one that has a painted rear fender, mine is chrome. Is it supposed to be chrome? Where is a good place to find some used parts for this bike? Ebay?

A chrome rear frnder depends on what year. 70 had chrome from factory, 71-73 had optional chrome rear available

HI, mark again. My serial # of the bike is c-120208. Does this make it a roadster or a roadster 2.

Here's oil spec's form Tecumseh Quick servive manual. These are from "Bone dry". When you drain the oil, it's hard to get it all out.
Looks like HS 40 is 21 oz. I find around 18 oz works ok with the Rupp dip stick. 21 oz when engine is flat on bench has oil almost overflowing.
