Hi I am new here and honestly I registered to see if anyone might need some parts from my old Rupp Ruppster Baja 230 e. I live in Houston Texas and originally purchased it in the 80's already worn out then but I was able to get it going and had fun with it. Back then Ebay was not around so I had to make most of the parts I needed or that were missing. I made some modifications as well that I am sure didnt help the value of it. I cut the body over the engine to make servicing it easier, I had to fabricate pedals and linkages for the gas and brake, I installed a front disc brake from a motorcycle on it, I had to mount an external coil on it because the original was bad, I fabricated a battery holder to hold a lawn tractor battery, I put a choke cable off a lawnmower on it, the flywheel broke so I welded a steel cradle if you will around it and welded the hub to the cradle, I had to fabricate a new air filter box, I fabricated one of the diaphragms in the carb, I had put turf tires on it, I was able to get a piston from Weisco to do the top end but was not able to get parts for the bottom, I put a dip stick in the fuel tank, I fabricated the fuel fill 90 degree elbow at the filler neck. I sold it to a guy here in Houston about 4 or 5 years ago and he instantly put it on Ebay and sold it there. If anyone here wound up with it I will send the parts I have for it to you for shipping costs only. Thanks, Kevin
