where can I purchase the pulleys for the t.c.. mine are worn through to the casting webs

Keep an eye on Ebay, using the search for "rupp". Also try J-L Vintage Sales ( www.jl-sales.com ). I'm using Comet Clutches with Rupp Driven's. One clutch uses 5/8" belt, other is for 3/4" belt. For the 3/4" belt, I had to add a spacer to the driven to keep it from closing all the way. Spacer is a big thin washer and it leaves the driven open just enough so that belt does not stick out of the pulley. The Comet clutches had to be spaced away from engine to align correctly with driven pulley. Washers again. The Comet clutches run about $50 at American Power Sports ( www.apskarting.com/ ) NEW, W/ WARRANTY !!!! Tom |
