Hello,
I'm searching for a used engine for my '70 Roadster.
If using an original TC-1 setup, how far does the crankshaft need to protrude from the block such that the engine pulley and jackshaft pulley are aligned properly? I'm thinking 2.5" but maybe thats too short?
Any help appreciated!

I have a 70 Roadster with an engine on it that has a shorter crank on it. You will just need a longer bolt for the pulley if the crank is not 2 1/2" long. There is a washer that goes between the block & the pulley so it lines up correctly with the pulley against it. Just tighten it down good & put some lockcheste on it. If you like I can measure my original motor crank.
