I have had this bike since the mid 70s, It was used/old when I got it.
How do I know for sure if its a banshee or a tc350?
it has a 3.5HP tecumseh, shocks on teh front forks, no shocks in the rear.
also, it needs front shocks, I removed the lower (moveable) forks, and the are rusty and nasty, How do I rebuild these?
the mini bike NEVER had working brakes, what was the original material used in the brake caliper.
I recall my father trying, rubber/wood,plastic, none ever lasted very long.. I was lucky back then, I would prefer to get the brakes working for my 7 year old son who wants to ride it now.
Ill get some photos soon, any help for parts sources and such is appreciated..
oh yeah, I need gaskets for the engine, I tore it down, lubed it up, and its waiting for gaskets... in good shape, slightly weak compression, but it will run...
any help is very much appreciated!
