Old lighting coil on new engine

I am just getting into Rupps and bought a Roadster 2 with a bad motor and I am wondering if it is possible to put my old lighting coil in a new engine? Has any one tried this or does any one know if it is even possible?

it will depend on the age of your new engine. If it is a new current model enigine, no it won't fit. If it is a new old production engine it may fit pending the model # of the engine
