Hello all, im new to this board and think it a great site!i had a few questions about a 1970 srambler, first, does anyone have the paint codes for the red and silver color combination??.. im looking to restore this and need to repaint the frame. secondly, i was wondering how to disassemble the front forks on this model? there is only 1 bolt/nut at the steering neck, how do i remove the front springs???lastly, does anyone now if i can install a tecumseh 5hp inthis model with the same tourque converter and belt?

Yes we are out here but I am not the one to help you HAHA I have a 71 Hustler so I do not have any info about the Scrambler. I had my Hustler poeder coated and I just matched up the colors with the paint samples at the coating place and it turned out perfect Good Luck!!

thats what im going to do, was just wondering if anyone had any info they would like to share.does anybody know what a 70 scrambler in great condition is worth??i was guessing 4-500?  |
