???I'm looking for some one that dose rechroming I have my parts from a 69 goat that I need to have rechromed can any one recommend any one? I would like to work with some one near home Rochester New York if possible. Thanks  -Mike- |

I live in Rochester also. Couldn't find any one last summer to do my Hustler parts, (at a reasonable cost). Try the Harley shops, they'll send your stuff out to be done, (again, at a price). Or try Chrome & Custom 1715 Lyell Ave. 585-458-8850 www.ChromeCustom.comI ended up, very carefully wire brushing my parts, then sanding with 3600 grit. Finally, I clear-coated with urethane enamel. Result looks more like stainlees steel than chrome though. Tried the same on my Scrambler but the pitting was so bad, it looked like crap. Good luck, Hemiman |

:)Hemiman thanks. I looked up Chrome & Custom and I plan to stop some time in the near future to get a Quote on my parts I will post information when I have it.

OK I have the first parts back form Chrome & Custom  Well it was worth the wait they are mint!!!! I have the tank and fenders there now... Chrome is not cheep but it will make the finish product look so great ;D OK I will post a pic when I get all the crome back. -Mike- |
