I am putting a new Techumseh HM40 motor on a Roadster. Is it possible to use the original clutch. The new motor shaft is 3/4 inch shorter. Is there a recommendation on a different clutch. Any other help or ideas?

you can use the original TC pulley assembly and it will work fine. All you need is a longer bolt to hold the pulley assy to the crankshaft. Don't forget to use the thick spacer washer between the engine and inner sheave.
