Guys, the prototype driver unit was a success! I have a direct bolt on, no modifications required, uses stock belt and fits under the TC cover front TC driver unit. It does not apply harsh like the Comet version. The bike has complete drivability. No modifying of anything is needed and it will sure save your real Rupp TC from wear on your rider type bikes. I have used it on a bone stock 72 Roadster2 with stock carb and exhaust. The bike climbs hills great, accels great and top ends great. The best part is it won't cost anything like the obsolete NOS Rupp TC parts. 1 unit will be on a bike at Windber for trial runs and at least 1 more in hand for viewing. This unit will fit all 1970 and up Rupp using TC drive systems.
